IT Security Manager

  • Responsible for the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, network devices, servers, related applications, hardware and software that is used in the organization.
  • Implement and manage the procedures to ensure the security of data
  • Schedule upgrades for obsolete systems and patches for vulnerable systems
  • Provide user training, support, advice and feedback
  • Evaluate and test the functionality of systems to ensure that they operate reliably
  • Maintain and review the IS Policies to ensure SLA compliance
  • Liaise with the clients representatives and external auditors during IT Audits, OSPAR etc..
  • Vendor management
  • Review and enforce information security policy, standards and guidelines for IT business application and infrastructure projects
  • Identify IT security risks including IT business application and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct security assessments for business application, infrastructure projects and third-party service providers
  • Undertake new security projects to improve the security controls, efficiency and ease of use
  • Perform process re-engineering and efficiency improvement for the team
  • Trusted advisor for solution architectures to ensure security of designs, guard rails, and blueprints for application architectures and cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Support ASEAN regulatory, technical security, risk assessments and compliance inspections as they relate to workloads on public cloud in the ASEAN region.
  • Enable the business by partnering with Accelerator teams, to ensure the security, risk mitigation, & compliance for workloads moving to cloud.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Hands-on thorough knowledge of Firewall/Switches/Network Devices is a must
  • Knowledgeable in IT controls, application security and risk management methodology.
  • Competent in conducting infrastructure, application and third-party security risk assessment.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex & basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with Fortigate & Palo Alto Firewall is a plus
  • Hands on experience securing public cloud workloads in a hybrid, global environment.
  • Active industry certifications related to cloud security and direct security, risk, and compliance experience with Azure cloud.
  • Knowledge of security controls, configuration management, and vulnerability management in public cloud and local setup are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
  • Degree or diploma in computer science/ computer engineering or information technology. With 5 years to 7 years Information Security Experience.
  • 4 years relevant experience in information technology Operating System & network engineering
  • Good knowledge of MS Windows (server, workstation, AD) and Unix/Linux OS, TCP/IP and packet analysis
  • Experience with Security log monitoring, Firewall management, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Pentest will be an advantage.
  • Candidate with CISSP, GIAC, OSCP certification or Degree/Diploma in Security will have an advantage
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Able to handle stress and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn & adapt is necessary
