IT Manager

  • Responsible for the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, network devices, servers, related applications, hardware and software that is used in the organization.
  • Safeguard the smooth operations of the organization’s CCTV system
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ensure all backups are completed successfully and transported to offsite location (Certis CISCO) for safe-keeping
  • Implement and manage the procedures to ensure the security of data
  • Schedule upgrades for obsolete systems and patches for vulnerable systems
  • Provide user training, support, advice and feedback
  • Evaluate and test the functionality of systems to ensure that they operate reliably
  • Recommend and procure IT-related equipment
  • Maintain and review the IS Policies to ensure SLA compliance
  • Liaise with the clients representatives and external auditors during IT Audits, OSPAR etc..
  • Vendor management
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Hands-on thorough knowledge of Firewall/Switches/Network Devices is a must
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex & basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with Fortigate & Palo Alto Firewall is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
